It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Daisy Whitworth of Big Canoe, Georgia, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Franklin Chandler and Maude McCannon Chandler; her husband Samuel C. Whitworth; her son Samuel C. Whitworth, Jr.; and her siblings, Billy Chandler and Peggy Chandler Seay.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Nilex O'Brien (George) and John Douglas Whitworth; her brother Bobby Chandler (Miriam); and her grandchildren, Shea, Kelley, Erinn, Tom, Ashleigh, Chaz, Daniel, Levi and Angi. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
