Mary Patricia Sweat Obituary
Mary Patricia Sweat, age 84 of Bethlehem, passed away on May 16, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Pearlee and Ernest "Mutt" Mooney.
She worked at Duck Head in Winder. After retirement, she enjoyed word search puzzles and watching her soap operas.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William "Parks" Sweat. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Teresa; brothers: Fred Cole, Junior Mooney, Ottwell Mooney, and Johny Mooney; and son-in-law, David Smith. She is survived by her daughters: Denette Gibson, Donna (JR) Maisonet, Dana Smith, and Deborah Cooper; brother, Ricky Cole; sister, Ann Woods; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, May 19 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, May 20 in Smith Memory Chapel at 11:00 am with Rev. John Burchfield officiating. The burial will follow at Carter Hill Church Cemetery.
