He is survived by: his wife Mary Turner Evans; his sisters, Sandra Bell of Gainesville Ga, Dodi Sims of Oxford and Janet Walden of Snellville Ga; his son Tim; his daughter-in-law Cathy Evans of Bethlehem; his granddaughter Caitlyn Evans of Bethlehem; his son David Evans of Braselton Ga; his granddaughter Jordan Thackston (Cole Thackston); and his great grandchildren, Mckenleigh and Callie Thackston.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Canton Funeral Home (3147 Marietta Hwy, Canton, GA 30114). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
