She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Benjaman Quattlebaum and Julia Ella Coleman Quattlebaum; her daughter Kathy Joyce Bote; her siblings, Bill (Louise), Coleman (Frances), Ed (Doris), Harvey (Marlene), Joe (Viginia), Dwight, Irvin Quattlebaum, Vivian Harris (Leland), Seydell Evans (Fred) and Annette Oliver (George); and her brothers-in-law, Charles Lovern and Jim Wilson.
She is survived by: her son William Lawrence McLean, Jr. (Denise Gloer McLean); her son-in-law Jeff John Bote; her grandsons, Chad Lawrence McLean (Amanda), Derek Brannon McLean (Katie), Logan Glenn Bote' and Luke Maxwell Bote; her great grandchildren, Issac Lawrence McLean and Kynzie Faith McLean; her siblings, Rhamey (Charlotte), Joyce Lovern and Ramona Wilson; and her sisters-in-law, Carol and Gloria Quattlebaum. She is also survived by 14 children in her family, Maxine leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Snellville (3705 US-78, Snellville, GA 30039). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
