She was predeceased by: her parents, George Zell and Lou Zell; and her grandson Dustin Cofer. She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Winters (Kurt) of Loganville and Cindy Meynard (Craig) of Marietta; her grandson Derek Cofer (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Austin, Gavin and Brandie Croat (Shawn); her sister Robbie Zell; and her nieces and nephews, Chad Stogner, Bridget Larsen, George Larsen and Megan Larsen.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jean's name to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
