He was predeceased by: his wife Dot Hammond Wallace; his daughter Sheila Wood Peppers; his parents, Ezra Lee Wallace and Arline Mae Wallace; and his siblings, G. W. Wallace, Otis Wallace, Willie Sue Wilson, Essie Lou McCullers, Reba Boyd and Betty Ruth Sims.
He is survived by: his son Wayne Wood of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Grant Peppers (Hannah), Keith Wood and Kenon Wood; and his great grandchildren, Avery Claire Peppers, Amberlea Peppers and Kolton Wood.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Barrow Memorial Gardens (793 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA 30680).
