He is survived by: his brother Randy Thompson (Donna); his nephews, Lance Thompson (Tara) and Kyle Thompson (Jessica); his great-nephews, Aiden Thompson, Easton Thompson and Miles Thompson; and his great-niece Anna Leigh Thompson.
