He was predeceased by: his parents, R. P. Austin and Kathleen Austin; his brother Robert Austin; and his sister-in-law Sarah Austin. He is survived by: his sister Ona McGahee; his nephews, Wayne Austin (Sherryl) and Keith Austin (Elizabeth); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Caleb Austin (Stoshia), Colton Austin (Grace Hedges), Desiree Martinez (Nelson) and Bethany Austin. He is also survived by two great great nephews; and three great great nieces.
