It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Jackson Salyers of Bethlehem, Georgia, born in Wise, Virginia, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Greg Salyers (Cindy) of Prattville, AL and Amanda Salyers Byrd of Monroe; his siblings, Norman Salyers of Liberty, KY, Dewey Salyers of Pound, VA, Cameron Salyers of Pound, VA, Reable Stevenson of Wise, VA and Selma Steele of Wise, VA; his grandchildren, Jessica Jewell, Madeline Byrd and Jeremiah Byrd; and his great grandchildren, Jacelyn Jewell and Johanna Jewell.
