With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobye Nell Silvery of Bethlehem, Georgia, who passed away on September 21, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Bobye Nell farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bobye Nell is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, William Robert "Billy" Barclay and Jean Silvery; her children, Robert Perry Barclay and Deborah Jones; and her parents, Perry L. Martin and Amanda Edgar Martin.
She is survived by: her children, William David Barclay (Judy) of Bethlehem, Vicky Taylor (Mike) of Monroe, Cindy Gregg (Robert) of Athens and Marty Barclay (Karen) of Winder. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren along with a host of great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
