It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Nix (Bethlehem, Georgia), born in Alpharetta, Georgia, who passed away on May 24, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Nix to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Sheila Noblett; her siblings, Ervin Jones, Curtis Jones, Mildred Destafino and Evelyn Tuggle; and her parents, Harmon B. Jones and Jennie Mae Stapler Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Bray (Bobby), Buford, Mary Hinson (Jon) and Harmon Nix (Cherry); her grandchildren, Dana Dexter, Joseph Echols, Daniel Echols, William Echols, Victoria Hagen, Jodi Roy, Christy Bray, Jana Moore and Joseph Bray; and her nephew John Ray Jones. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews, including one nephew who was as much a brother.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Goizueta Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (1762 Clifton Rd. NE, Ste 1400, Atlanta, GA 30322), in memory of Betty.
