She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Giles and Flossie Giles; her husband Virgil R. Skipper; her son V. Eugene Skipper; and her siblings, Aveta Himschoot, Doretha Walden and James Giles.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Louise Burke (Howard Burke) of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Sandra Burke Chason (Gil) of Tallahassee, Cynthia Shelia Bennett (Marty) of Omega and Stacey Joann Norris (Rob) of Tucson, Arizona; her great grandchildren, Christina Rowell, Victoria Rowell, Jacob Bennett (Alexandra), Jillian Bennett, Samantha Bennett, Mallorie Chason, Mark Norris, Luke Norris, Rebecca Norris and James Norris; and her sister Martha Horne of Berlin. She is also survived by many niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and food, and to honor her love for the lord, the family request that donations be made to The Gideons International.
