She was predeceased by: her parents, James Columbus Herndon and Mae Watson Herndon; and her husband Joel Chantler Hart. She is survived by: her children, Charlie "Gene" Hart (Janie) of Moultrie, Margie Hart Owens (Gerald) of Rainsville, AL, Joel "Randall" Hart (Jan) of Berlin and James "Lavon" Hart of Berlin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
