He was predeceased by: his daughter Paula Thompson; his parents, Albert Peterson and Ruth Courson Peterson; and his sister Joyce Brown. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Peterson of Baxley; his daughter Tammie Orvin (Gary) of Baxley; his grandchildren, Ashley Griffis, Vicki Thomson and Sierra Baxley; and his brother Eddie Peterson of West Green. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
