She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Brown Carter and Norma Ryall Carter. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Lynn Gardner (Freddy) of Collins and Michael Googe (Entela) of Savannah; her brothers, John C. Carter (Shirley) of Alma, Jimmy Carter (Beverly) of Baxley and Melvin Joe Carter of Baxley; and her grandchildren, Caleb Googe, Jesse Googe, Sammy Googe, Matt Gardner, Josh Gardner and Rachel Landmon. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
