She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry D. Knight and Lila Mae Harper Knight; her husband Kenneth Lester Bedgood; her son Timothy Allen Taylor; her son-in-law Jimmy Chitty; and her siblings, Henry Knight, Jr., Jack Knight, William Knight, Addie Mae Wasdin, Martha Forbes and Shirley Smoak.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine T. Griffin (Matt) of Odum, Holly T. Carter of Baxley, Wendy T. Chitty of Baxley, Darrell Taylor (Susan) of Baxley and David Taylor (Peggy) of Baxley; her stepchildren, Roxanne Pierce of Rincon, Andy Bedgood (Marie) of Rincon and Mitchell Bedgood of Atlanta; her sisters, Betty Thomas of Baxley and Laura Archuleta (Archie) of Mt. Airy; her sister-in-law Esther Knight; and her grandchildren, Josh Griffin (Amanda), Jessica Griffin, Leslie Reynolds (Derek), Ryan Taylor (Shandale), Jordan Taylor (Chris), David Carter, Brooke Cannon (Bill), Taylor Chitty (Brittany) and Jamie Chitty.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Spring Branch Baptist Church (707 Spring Branch Church extention, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
