She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Childers and Dema Cloer Childers; her husband Marion Davie Pruitt; and her son Spencer Chaffin, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Shelia Baxley (Steve) and Stanley Chaffin (Samantha); her grandchildren, Kathy Baxley and Brian Baxley; and her close friend Mitchell Conaway. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
