She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee "Jake" Tanner and Betty Tanner Carter; and her siblings, Jimmy Tanner and Evelyn Palmer. She is survived by: her significant other Troy R. Rushing of Baxley; and her sons, David (Natalie) and Erik (Heather). She is also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (602 N Wayne St, Alma, GA 31510).
