He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleaton Yawn and Mamie Burke Yawn; his wife Nellie Courson Yawn; and his siblings, Joyce Davis (Wendell), Wilma Fletcher (Robert) and Thomas Yawn.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Lord (Steven) of Tennille, David Yawn (Christina) of Baxley and Sammy Yawn (Kathy) of Beverly Hills, FL; and his sister-in-law Virginia Yawn of Panama City, FL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
