He is survived by: his wife Tina Gay; his sons, Jeremy Logan Gay Stringer and Zachary Dan Gay; his grandchildren, Cambry Reanne Gay and Oakley Lewis Gay; his sister-in-law Amy Carter (Ricky); his nieces and nephews, Ian Carter (Miranda), Austin, Ace Carter, Emilia Carter and Charli Ann Carter; his uncles, Lake Carter, L. C. Carter and Lavelle Carter; his close friend Lynn Martin Warren; and his goddaughter Kasey Smith Dykes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swain Funeral Home - Baxley (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Baptist Church (6485 E River Rd, Baxley, GA 31513).
