He was predeceased by: his son Gary Conrad; and his parents, Emory Conrad and Alma Cason Conrad. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Conrad of Baxley; his sons, Bobby Haynes of Baxley, Joseph Conrad (Jackie) of Baxley, Christopher Conrad of Baxley and Aaron Conrad of Soperton; his grandson Samuel Cochran; and his siblings, Emory Conrad (Tina) of Vidalia, Anthony Conrad of Vidalia and Rita Aaron (Jerry) of Lyons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
