We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2023, at the age of 75, Jeanette Herndon of Baxley, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ernest Herndon, Jr. and Sara Nell Bass Herndon; and her sister Sue Davis. She is survived by: her sons, David Hunter (Karen) of Meansville and Dane Hunter Cartersville (Meg); her siblings, Martha Lewis of Warner Robbins, Jean Davis (Charles) of Baxley, Jay Herndon (Linda) of Hazlehurst, Danny Herndon (Celes) of Ella Bell and Mickey Davis of Baxley; her close friend Truman Bowen; her grandchildren, Grace Hunter (Dylan West), Joseph Frazier (Stephanie), Angela Lyon (Harold), Stephanie Tanksley, Brittany Tanksley, Emily Doxey (Brian), Kyle Bradley (Chloe) and Nicole Bradley; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Bridgett, Luke, Blake Frazier, Noah, Sadie, Farrah, Jordyn Tanksley and Rosie Doxey.
