He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Lynch and Rita Ann Lynch (Cherry); his former wife Martha Lynch; and his brother Stan Lynch. He is survived by: his wife June Bratcher Lynch; his children, Rodney Lynch (Michelle), Jeffery Lynch and Jennifer Robertson; his stepdaughters, Karen Wallace (Scott) and Lisa Crosby; his grandchildren, David Digh, Noah Digh, Russell Lynch, Bryce Lynch, Connor Robertson, Daniel Lynch, Nicholas Lynch, Taylor Robertson, Dylan Robertson and Anna Lynch; his great grandchild Summer Robertson; his siblings, Wilda Ann Grace, Wayne Lynch and Hershel Lynch; and his uncle Brady Lynch. He is also survived by 5 step grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Red Oak Baptist Church (4070 Red Oak Rd, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
