She was predeceased by: her mother Odessa Yarbrough Swain; her husband James Richard Dyal; her grandson Robert Edwards, Sr.; and her siblings, Opal Swain Carroll, Doy Swain and Vadlus "Boody" Swain.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Mathews (Bobby) of Baxley and Linda Collins (Troy) of Baxley; her sisters, Ethelyn Creech (Sammy) of Hazlehurst and Winifred Mathis of Hazlehurst; her grandchildren, Mandy Varnadore (Jessie), Tina Beecher (Greg), Shawn Mathews, Andy Collins and Matt Collins (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Andrea NeeSmith (Lemial), Rhonda Herrin (Rick), Kenslee Wood (Tommy), Trent Varnadore (Vera), Robert Edwards, Jr., Kayla Edwards, Cara Edwards (Haley), Trey Mincey (Tara), Tori Thornton (Garrett), Bailey Mathews, Trent Mathews, Walker Collins and Wesley Collins. She is also survived by fourteen great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church.
