With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel McFadden (Baxley, Georgia), born in Appling, Georgia, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Hazel may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hazel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swain Funeral Home (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
