She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Carter and Lillie Roberts Carter; her husbands, James Crosby and Rev. Roy Jacobs; and her sisters, Bobbie Jean Ware and Betty Ann Sellers.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Crosby of Baxley. She is also survived by one grandchild, four great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
