Charles Brooks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2019, at the age of 85, Charles Brooks (Baxley, Georgia), born in Appling, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Joni B. Jones; and his parents, Charlie R. Brooks and Annie Ruth Brooks (Purcell). He is survived by: his wife Linda K. Brooks of Baxley; his daughter Ella Ruth Belflower (Derek) of Cochran; his grandchildren, Eli Belflower of Cochran, Hayden Belflower of Cochran, Lydia Belflower of Cochran and Daniel Jones of Forsyth; and his brother-in-law Bill Kicklighter of Baxley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Baxley First Baptist Church at P.O. Box 346, Baxley, GA 31515, or the Appling County Hospital Foundation-Pavilion C Hall at 163 E. Tollison St. Baxley, GA 31513.
