We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2023, at the age of 85, Catherine Stone of Baxley, Georgia, born in Hinesville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shepard Ray and Opal Lewis Ray; her husband Lowell Stone; and her siblings, Johnny Ray, Frankie Carter, Edna Mae Sellers, Annie Mae Burdette, Beatrice Talley and Rosia Lee Herrin.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Bailey (James) of Hazlehurst, Lori Lewis (Barry) of Baxley, Bob Stone (Linda) of Baxley and Jesse Stone (Teresa) of Baxley; and her brothers, Howard Ray (Faye) of Hazlehurst, James Ray (Sara) of Waycross and Walter Ray (Carol) of Valdosta. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
