She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin "Ben" Weaver and Dorothy Carter Weaver; her uncle Edward; and her aunt Rosa Mae Cowart. She is survived by: her husband Gregory H. Carter of Baxley; her daughters, Dorothy Alexis Carter (Hunter Hinson) of Homerville and Allie Grace Carter of Baxley; her aunt Evelyn Bullard of Baxley; her caregivers, Beth Hunter, Tina Smith, Susie Hunter, Marla Tomberlin, Marilyn Bass, Nicole Deal, Linda Lynch and Jane Aycock; and her pet Sawyer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Swain Funeral Home (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home (1632 Hatch Pkwy N, Baxley, GA 31513).
