Betty Carolyn Stowe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Carolyn Stowe of Baxley, Georgia, born in Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Jerry Franklin Stowe (Rhonda Johnson); and her great grandchild Laci Laycock. She is survived by: her husband Eddie James; her children, Linda Sweat (Charles), Debbie Gilbert (Leon), Trica Peeples (Rocky), Mandy Johnson and Christina Stowe; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Laycock, Haley Simmons, Corey Sweat, Jonathan Crews, Chelsea Crews, Aaron Crews, Amber Harris, Jerrie Moody, Brooke Anderson, Kayla Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Dane Johnson, Sydney Johnson, Brian Johnson Jr., Colby Stowe and Savannah Gilbert. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and sisters.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nobles Funeral Home & Crematory (85 Anthony St, Baxley, GA 31513). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Nobles Funeral Home Chapel (85 Anthony St, Baxley, GA 31513).
