It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Cheryl Eason King (Baxley, Georgia), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara Cheryl Courson Eason; her sister Cynthia Lynn Eason Davidson; and her stepmother Dixie Crawford Eason. She is survived by: her father Harold Eason; her husband Reverend Dean King; her daughter Olivia Grace King; her niece Erica Chantille Ehrlich (David); her nephew Christopher Lee Thompson (Crystel); her great-nephews, Treyton Thompson and Huck Erlich; her brother-in-law Steve Davidson; and her aunt Lynn Lowe. She is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crowell Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory - Peachtree Corners Chapel (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Omega Cemetery (600 Omega Cemetery Rd, Baxley, GA 31513).
In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that contributions be made to help Dean and Olivia with funeral expenses and medical expenses that have occurred for Barbara. A gofundme has been set up.
