It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Jackson Jr. of Bartow, Georgia, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Murray Jackson, Sr. and Doris Jones Jackson; and his brother Stanley Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jackson; his daughters, Laura Jackson of Atlanta and Melanie Roberts (Grayland Poole) of Evans, GA; his grandchildren, Jace Poole, Cassidy Lloyd and Sky Poole; and his great grandchild Tatum Lloyd.
He also asked for no flowers, but donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation with funds designated for Type 1 research (http://www.jdrf.org) can be made as a tribute to him and his 67 years of living with diabetes.
