She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Riley Stavely and Ethel Lou Copper Stavely; and her husband Clarence L. Merritt Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Joan M. Human of Albany, Joy M. Cotton (Stephen) of Millen and Sharon M. McMillen (Charles) of Marietta; and her sister Carolyn Andrews (Jimmy) of Tennille. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
