He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Hiers. He is survived by: his wife Jutta Hiers of Brooks County; his stepchildren, Marco Devine (Aileen) of Valdosta and Mercedes Devine of Moultrie; and his siblings, Franklin Hiers (Debbie) of Brooks County, Wandell Hiers (Terry) of Brooks County, Patsy Williams of Brooks County, Marie Hutchinson of Lake Park and Elizabeth Sansbury of Brooks County. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
