She was predeceased by: her former husband T. Irvin Willingham Jr.; her parents, Henley Cavender and Beatrice Cavender; and her brothers, Norman, Ralph Cavender and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels (Daisy).
She is survived by: her husband W. Douglas Smith; her sons, Tom Willingham (Macon), Jim Willingham (Hannah) and Bob Willingham (Alexis); her grandchildren, Tommy, Charlie, Ella and Henley Willingham; and her sisters-in-law, Anna Kilburn (Galen), Harriette Cavender and Audrey Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
