He is survived by: his children, Nancy Hammond, David Hammond (Lisa) and Starla Brown (Ken); his grandchildren, Vanessa Parker, Melanie Sampler (Brandon), Taylor McWilliams (Patricia), Heather Godwin (Eric), Michael Hammond, Daniel Hammond, Ashley Dennis and Brooke Miller; his great grandchildren, Jackson Merritt, Aisley Sampler, Konnor Merritt, Kendall Merritt, Emma Phelan, Kayla McWilliams, Karly McWilliams, Kalvin McWilliams, Trinity Godwin, Kenneth Godwin, Riley Godwin, Kensleigh Dennis and Lexi Dennis; and his caregivers, April Caudle and Kaitland Gager (Marne Ridenhour). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
