With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deacon John A. Holloway (Barnesville, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Frances Bush Holloway and John D. Holloway; and his siblings, Earnestine Gresham, Allen Holloway and Suzette Bogan.
He is survived by: his wife Rosann Holloway; his daughter LaTreena Meadows (Jerry, Jr.); his grandchildren, Janiah Meadows, Jordin Meadows, Jerderrian Meadows and Haiden Harris; his great grandchildren, Navi and Ava; his siblings, Mary Ann Holloway, Michael Holloway, Ralph Holloway (Marilyn), Mark Holloway and Ray Holloway (Sharon); his godchildren, Brianna Thornton and Frederick Sparks Jr.; his caregiver Diane Jordan; his uncles, Arthur Bush and Frank Holloway (Vanessa); and his friend Ray Lockhart. He is also survived by several other sisters and brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
