He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Pollard Thompson of Barnesville; his children, Vicky Lynn Wylie of Byron, Mary Elizabeth Lister (Steve) of Templeton, Chuck Thompson (Dawn) of Bolingbroke and Chad Michael Thompson (Chanda) of Barnesville; his sisters, Betty Sue Wilson of Milner, Sarah Hearn (Jimmy) of Barnesville, Joyce Waller of Barnesville and Linda Walker (Larry) of Barnesville; his sister-in-law Clarice Thompson; his grandchildren, Brett Wylie Duriez, Brooke Wylie, Chet Thompson, Lem Thompson, Huck Thompson, Walker Lister, Arran Lister, Lindsey Lister, Bayne Thompson, Charlie Kate Thompson and Lexie Thompson; his great grandchild Blake Duriez; and also, Mose Thompson, Jimmy Thompson (Wanita), Hugh Thompson (Donnis), Martha Gibson (William), Felton Thompson (Nellie), Bobby Thompson (Carolyn), Elsie Ellerby (Pete) and Mary Grace Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home (321 Hannahs Mill Rd, Thomaston, GA 30286).
