She was predeceased by: her husband Charles H. "Buddy" Bannister; her parents, A. J. Fletcher and Mattie Fletcher; and her siblings, George Fletcher, Peggy Jean Fletcher, Evelyn Cowart, Allene Hatch, Margaret Stancil and Jane Wehunt.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Bannister; her siblings-in-law, Sue Lawson, Ina Conley, Martha Cook and Elijah Bannister (Helen); and her aunt Joyce Bannister. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
