With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Ernest Vliet of Ball Ground, Georgia, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on September 19, 2022 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Loudermilk Vliet; his children, Sarah Grace and Russell Richard; his parents, Richard Vliet and Carolyn Vliet of Ball Ground, GA; and his siblings, Chris House (Bill) of Alpharetta, GA, Vic Vliet (Jennifer) of Woodstock, GA and Jeni Newman (Johnathan) of Troy, OH. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp to Belong, a non-profit organization that reunites brothers and sisters who have become separated by the foster care system through a week of camp in the summer and other events throughout the year.
