We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2024, at the age of 81, Robert Kenneth Wood of Ball Ground, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Wood and Annabel Wood; his former wife Shelba Wood; his son Jeffrey Wood; and his sister Pat Balboni.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Carter-Wood of Ball Ground; his daughter Tammy; his son-in-law Douglas Dulaney of Manassas, Virginia; his son Robert Wood of Denver, Colorado; his children-in-law, Brooke Carter of Ball Ground and Derek McNutt of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Blake Carter, Austin Carter, Camdyn Carter and Annistyn Carter; his brother Donald Wood of Adairsville; his brother-in-law Hugh Balboni of Safety Harbor, Florida.; and his daughter-in-law Phyllis Staray.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Jasper (198 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Cherokee Memorial Park (120 Memorial Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
