He was predeceased by: his parents, John David "JD" and Ouila Geneva Hortman Mullinnix. He is survived by: his siblings, Connie McCoy and Jeff Mullinnix of Gordon; and his nieces and nephews, Tasha Allen, Christie Mullinnix, A. J. Mullinnix, Josh Register and Floyd Peavy, Jr..
