He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Beverly and Frances Lucille Beck Hardie; his wife Linda Lou Veal Hardie; his children, Tracy Hardie, Terry Hardie Smith of Milledgeville and Alan Hardie of Milledgeville; his grandchildren, Tye Smith (Holly) and Hannah Hardie; his great-grandparent Sawyer Louise Smith; his sister Reba Hardie Bailey; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Veal and Donald Ray Veal.
