He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Jackson Lavender and Nellie Jo Stephens Lavender. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Ann Crawford; his daughters, Denise Tapley (Donnie) of Milledgeville and Sherry Lavender of North Carolina; and his siblings, Anita Lavender Layfield of Milledgeville, Joseph Lavender (Becky) of Milledgeville, John Lavender (JoAnn) of Milledgeville, Justin Lavender (Sandy) of Milledgeville, David Lavender of Milledgeville and Chris Lavender of Milledgeville. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
