He was predeceased by: his parents, Rowell Albert "Tom" McCant and Eunice Etheridge McCant; and his sisters, Evelyn Brannan, Viola Ellington, Barbara Jean Spires and Joann McLaren.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa McCant of Milledgeville; his children, Daphne Campbell (Robert) of Milledgeville, Tommy McCant of Milledgeville, Andy McCant of Milledgeville and Mark McCant (Becky) of Milledgeville; his siblings, Velma Spires (Ben) of Milledgeville and Al McCant of Milledgeville; and his stepchildren, David Robinson (Debra) of Milledgeville, Chastity Rogers (Tom) of Milledgeville and Scott Robinson (Lora) of Anderson, SC. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
