He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Smith and Anita Smith; his wife Marilyn Brown Smith; his son Sean Smith; and his brother Brad Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Troy Smith of Milledgeville and James Brown of Covington; and his brother Paul Smith of Milledgeville.
