He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Weaver McConnell of Baldwin; his daughter Kelly McConnell Grizzle; his son-in-law Rodney of Dahlonega; his son Kiley; his daughter-in-law Jen of Cornelia; and his siblings, Kenneth McConnell of Mt. Airy and Betty Copeland of Douglasville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
