She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Josey and Eddie Mae Smith Josey. She is survived by: her husband Charles Thigpen of Coopers; her daughters, Maria Burgamy (Greg) of Milledgeville, Sandy Smith (Gary) of Milledgeville and Dawn Ward (Wesley) of Milledgeville; and her sister Julia Mae Josey of Bartow. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
