It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Edwin Booth of Baldwin, Georgia, born in Cornelia, Georgia, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward Booth and Lillian Maxine Smith Booth; his sisters, Leutrelle Dillashaw and Regina Merrifield; his nephew Kevin Booth; his sister-in-law Susie Booth; and his parents-in-law, J. D. and Cathryn Shockley.
He is survived by: his wife Alawayne Shockley Booth of Baldwin; his daughter Saresa Booth Garrett (Ernie) of Cornelia; his grandchildren, Madelyn Garrett and Hudson Garrett; his brother Mack Booth of Mt. Airy; his sister-in-law Sandra Ward (Clifton); and his nieces and nephews, Crystal Erwin, Heather Dillashaw, Doug Ward (Sherry), Chris Ward and Marty Dillashaw.
