She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nelson and Marion Elizabeth Nelson; and her brother Marion Wayne Nelson. She is survived by: her spouse Raburn "Ned" Heard; her brother Edward Nelson; and her sons, John Heard of Statham, Dan Heard (Becky) of Loganville, Gary Heard (Christy) of Loganville and Greg Heard (Sheila) of McDonough. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
